My name is Anurag Gupta
Welcome to my website! This website is designed to help and educate yourself about the various clinical services and experties that I provide.
I am a General practitioner with special interest in minor surgical procedure and various joint injections. Before becoming a GP in the UK I have worked as a surgeon for number of years.
I have over 25 years of clinical experience working as a doctor in various countries such as India, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and England. I have been awarded Fellowship from the Royal college of Surgeons in Ireland (FRCS) and also qualified a Diploma in Sports Medicine.

NHS Work.
Full General practitioner service through NHS at my surgery at Benim Medical Centre, 2 Penvally Crescent, Liverpool L6 3BY. I routinely perform various minor surgical proceduers and Corticosteroids Joint injections for all local GP Surgery's patients who are referred to me locally at my own surgery (Benim Medical Centre) and also at Garston Hospital Liverpool. Our Surgery is regulated by CQC and currently rated Good.
Private work
Private medical examination and private hospital referrals.
Minor surgery such as removal of Lipoma, Sebaceous cyst, Wart, Skin tags, Ingrowing toe nail operation, Papilloma excision and similar surgical procedures.
Steroid injection like Knee joint injection, Shoulder joint injection, Tennis elbow injection, Golfer’s elbow injection, Trochanteric bursa( hip) injection etc.
